Critique
No definition has been proposed. This taxon has been used as a monotypic family redundant with Segisaurus, which is known from a single partial skeleton (e.g. Romer 1956, Steel 1970). Recent work  places Segisaurus within the Coelophysidae (e.g. Sereno and Wild 1992, Sereno 1998, Tykoski and Rowe 2004), in which case the taxon Segisauridae is a junior synonym.
