Comments
Noasauridae was first defined by Wilson et al. (2003) as a stem-based taxon. The active phylogenetic definition is a first-order revision. It cites for exclusion two additional species (Coelophysis bauri, Passer domesticus) to ensure stabiliy of taxonomic content, should noasaurids be placed elsewhere among basal theropods.
